The Search For Kathea, A Leap Into Finding Geralt's Lost Soul

The Search For Kathea, A Leap Into Finding Geralt's Lost Soul      Iriisii leaves the moneychanger, Cosma Cianfanelli's establishment, letting her desire to find Geralt come to the front of her mind now that the other matter has been settled. She follows the tugging and walks in the deepening gloom of sunset through the better, more high-end estates, to the old temple that the 'Church of the Eternal Flame' used for whatever purposes they used it for.      As she walks in through the large doors, she sees the open courtyard, empty, lifeless. Somehow, even when all of the former churchmen went about their business here and services to the more noble public were held here, she still got the unerring feeling this place was still empty and lifeless. She hears echoes of the words shouted to the crowds of people gathered here, feels the meaningless emotions behind them. For there was no true faith or hope here, only the baser desires held sway. And they...

The Search For Kathea, A Leap Into A New Institution

The Search For Kathea, A Leap Into A New Institution      Iriisii walks out of the square, letting the tug she feels guide her steps forward, either to Geralt or to Cyprian Wiley, she knows not which will be the one she is led to but assumes the one most in need at this moment. As she moves on, she begins to acquire a following of people. They too, feel led to follow her, as if they need to stand witness to what is to come.      She walks through the various areas, seeing and listening to the sounds of the city, the merchants hawking their wares, the whores trying to attract customers, the dockworkers loading and unloading ships, the sounds of sailors in the dockside taverns. They pass by the upper crust homes and villas in the better parts of town. A few places seem to point themselves out to her for various reasons, some to buy as they formerly belonged to the 'Church of the Eternal Flame', others just burnt out ruins in need of being repurposed, an...

The Search For Kathea, A Leap Into Unwanted Help

The Search For Kathea, A Leap Into Unwanted Help       The carriage is carrying Dandelion and Priscilla onto their honeymoon. Iriisii has made special arrangements for it to exit the city to a special location where it will go through a portal and arrive outside the gate to her home in the Shire, where the newlyweds will be met by Tonas, Iriisii's steward. She knows he will look after them and see to whatever they need until they are ready to return.      Now she must deal with this problem with the future of Nilfgard that got dropped into her lap. Suddenly she is interrupted by Triss, who tearfully asks if they could talk.      "Come in and sit, tell me what has happened. I am assuming something Geralt has said or done has you in these tears?"      "Yes, he saw Yennefer earlier with her son. Then I walked toward him and he saw me, looked back toward Yen, went straight out the door, and I have not seen him since."   ...

The Search For Kathea, A Leap Into Unwelcome Wedding Crashers

The Search For Kathea, A Leap Into Unwelcome Wedding Crashers      Iriisii looks into the souls of these two friends who wish for her to bind them in the 'Mother's Rites of Matrimony'. She sees the depths of love and emotions between them, mirroring those of her own for her mates. And so she begins this ceremony, a special one for them alone.      "The Marriage Rites of other Gods and Goddesses far too often speak the same words time and time again, until they somehow lose the power in the words that were intended. This is something the 'Mother' has asked me to guard against. For the words of her, 'Rites' are personal and special for each who comes before her. The two who stand before me now, are friends, very dear friends to me. And I am honored beyond mere words to officiate the binding of their marriage to each other.      I know of the joys they have shared, of the travails they have endured, of the help and hope they have given to ...
