Phoenix Rising Reprise 11

     They awake from their shared dream, not knowing what if any truth was seen in it. But now bound and determined to see it through on the chance that it was all true. 'V', "Come on, we still have a job to do, time to see it through. They climb the slope to the camp when they hear a mother yelling for her child. "Jonas, where are you. Come on out, it is ok, now." A figure strides to the mother and whispers in her ear. Then there is scream, "Hit! My boy was hit!? Take me to him! Now!" 'V's senses tell her what has happened, "Dakota, come on, a boy was hit by a stray bullet. If he is to live, we have to hurry." They reach the medical tent just as the mother can be heard. "What do you mean you cannot do any more!" Medic. "He needs surgery in a hospital. The bullet is too close to the femoral artery, if we nicked that he would bleed out in seconds.
