Civil War

 Civil War      Iriisii considers some difficult thoughts on where and what she needs to do now. She knows she has to stop Alduin, but how to go about setting the stage to allow her access to the resources to do this. She knows she has to reach Sovngarde. That there is a portal somewhere because Alduin is using it to regain the power he is using to resurrect his followers from their burial sites. She cannot be at every one as he raises them just to put them back into the ground. That and she has determined that Sovengard is the only place he is vulnerable to her.      Iriisii thinks to herself: 'I know he is going to have this portal in a place that is inaccessible to anyone but other dragons. If not it would already have been discovered, and an army camped out there to wait for him. So to get there I have to trap a dragon and then bargain with him, hoping I can get the information I need as well as a way to get there. I have my own wings now, but I do...

 Excerpt #7      Standing in the center of a remote temple, now just broken stone blocks, a few plinths still standing, stubbornly refusing to lay down and finally die. A visitor walks from the forest edge to gaze at these ruins first hand. She seems to be looking for something or someplace within these ruins. Extending senses honed over long years of training and practice with the Master who selected her as his apprentice. Until that fateful day long years ago when he walked away from her. Leaving her to wonder if she was the reason he left.      His reasons were his own and had nothing to do with her, but rather other tumultuous events in his own life. Events that caused him to 'fall'. Eerily similar to the way Aasimar Scourge are sometimes known to 'fall'.
